Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team?s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring?s Global IT Function.
Your new role
The primary role of the Senior Master Data Analyst is to be responsible for the application and data migration of legacy systems and the transition approach within the project. You will design Master Data Governance framework securing harmonization and consistency across the organization, implement and carry out Master Data Governance for Domain specific Master Data objects, capture roles and responsibilities along the data lifecycle, assuring assignment in the organization, define and maintain templates for data modelling and business rules capture and define and implement Master Data Best Practices for the E2E processes. It will be your responsibility to design a logical data model, lead the definition of Master Data standards and business rules, ensure consistency through centralized and harmonized Change Management, assess and prioritize together with the Product Owners new demands and changes, lead Master Data Quality and Process Quality improvement initiatives and align, establish Quality and Performance measurements supporting validity, consistency, integrity Master Data across the organization. Regarding the ERP Program you will lead Master Data activities for A2R, Financial Performance Reporting and Procurement subprocess, lead required cleansing and data collection activities, lead Master Data Governance workshops, capture logical and system specific data model, support mapping legacy to target, design and document data lifecycle processes for various business scenarios and lead definition and alignment of business rules for Master Data. Finally you will identify all MD objects in scope of migration, assessing volumes and effort for migration, support the migration execution. profile data and analyse data quality, identify dormant records, support and document rules and standards definition and lead field and value mapping for MD.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a talented individual with solid knowledge in Master Data Management in Business domains Finance and Procurement, experience in Master Data governance implementation projects and who has participated in SAP migration activities (possibly to S4/HANA). You also need to have practical experience in the business process domains Finance and/or Procurement and be able to support the Product Owners with Master Data best practices. You need to be a strong problem solver and communicator, with high costumer focus and have the ability and to operate successfully in a dynamic environment.
