Your new role
The role is part of a forward-looking legal team that is redesigning itself to take advantage of the ongoing disruption in global legal services (ALSPs, legal tech, Legal Ops, etc.) to drive continuous improvement in legal services. The position is part of a global legal, IP, compliance, and privacy team that is building a culture that is global and diverse, collaborative and team-focused, driven to excel and continuously improve, and is open-minded and creative.
You will report to the Vice President ? Corporate Secretary & Special Projects ? and you will be responsible for coordinating and interacting with local corporate secretaries in the global Ferring environment to track board changes, collect documents, assist with signatures and with local counsel regarding review of changes to local corporate charters. Support the creation of new legal entities and dissolution of existing legal entities where requested, support board and shareholder meetings and support in responding to requests for information regarding ownership of the Ferring Group (?Know-Your-Customer?), among other activities.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a talented professional with a Law Degree and 5 to 10 years of experience in similar roles or related professional experience in a corporate department or law firm. For your success, you should have excellent planning and organisational skills and be service-minded, resourceful and with a solution-oriented approach. You will need an advanced level of English (written and spoken - mandatory) and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). We are looking for a Talent with strong communication, intellectual curiosity, resiliency and with the ability to work in a decentralised finance structure.
