What we are looking for?


We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Manager. This is an opportunity to join a renowned multinational company (E-commerce industry). You will be working with the CFO and Finance team to oversee the finance operations in Portugal. This is a new role as part of the business expansion plan. This is a full-time position.

our day to day might look like this:


  • Managing and being responsible for overall accounting activities (AP, AR, GL, etc.);
  • Preparing management & financial reporting; handling cash flow projection, quarterly forecast, and yearly budgeting;
  • Managing and being responsible for variance, business performance analysis;
  • Managing and being responsible for all statutory reporting matters;
  • Working with the new European VAT regime for D2C (OSS and IOSS);
  • Managing and being responsible for keeping the inventory accurate;
  • Managing and being responsible for audit schedule and corporate tax; liaising with auditors, tax agents and ensuring tax compliance;
  • Engaging in process streamline and system improvement activities or projects.

Your must haves:


  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience;
  • Experience in multinational environments;
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Agile, and with a strong sense of business acumen to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information;
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners;
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good English skills;
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel.

Set yourself apart:


  • Immediate availability;
  • Experience in the eCommerce or technology industry;
  • Experience in logistics;
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • Certified Accountant (TOC) is a plus.
