My client an exciting and fast growing Pharmaceutical business are looking for a Senior Pharmacovigilance professional to join their diverse, collaborative and inclusive Pharmacovigilance team to provide support as deputy QPPV. The deputy QPPV will work closely with the EUQPPV as required & contribute to the global Pharmacovigilance activities for the business. Focused on Orphan and Rare disease this is a nimble Pharmaceutical business with huge scope for progression, growth and development. Responsibilities;
- Working closely with the EUQPPV to establish and maintain the Marketing Authorisation holder?s pharmacovigilance system
- Provide cover for the EUQPPV in their absence
- To ensure all AE/SAE, PSUR, ICSR, literature review and signal detection are reported and collated in line with company policy and agreed timelines
- Ensure PSMF is maintained and updates signed off
- Act as central point of contact to the competent authorities on a 24-hour basis including the out of hours emergency medical information phone line
- Provide Pharmacovigilance support and advice to relevant departments
- Assist with training and development of PV team members
Requirements;
- A degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Nursing, Toxicology, Medicine or an equivalent degree from the Life Science field
- Minimum of 4 years? experience within Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety within a commercial Pharmaceutical environment
- Demonstrable experience of Pharmacovigilance and associated requirements
