Kelly Services is recruiting a Tax & Customs Expert, for our client Siemens S.A., located in Alfragide.

Responsabilities:

• Reporting to the Head of Tax in Portugal, will be involved in all taxes applicable to the company's operations, including direct and indirect taxes
• Preparation and filing of all Portuguese tax returns required
• Support in tax audits and in tax administration processes
• Comprehensive tax analysis of the company's local and international business projects and transactions
• Monitoring and application of tax benefits based on the company's business structures and projects and the relevant tax legislation
• Close cooperation with the company's business units for the evaluation and mitigation of tax risks with active participation in the design and structuring of business projects and transactions
• Cooperation in local and international tax topics and in cross border projects with the local tax departments of other Siemens entities in foreign countries, including the headquarters in Germany
• Cooperation with HR, Accounting, and Legal departments in interdisciplinary technical issues
• Tax support in the company's M&A transactions
• Support in Transfer Pricing documentation and internal TP advisory
• Internal tax report to the headquarters
• Monitoring of Import and Export procedures with the Customs Authorities
• Intrastat reports

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Specific academic background in Tax is a positive aspect
• At least 10 years of professional experience in tax compliance and tax advisory, including Portuguese and international taxation
• Certified accountant registered with OCC in Portugal
• Expert communication skills in a business environment and ability to present difficult and complex technical issues
• Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, and resistant to stress
• Professional ethics, responsibility, and problem solving
• Proactivity, priority management, analytical, and organization skills
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (expert level is mandatory)
• Fluent Spanish is an advantage
