Following the path of expansion of Indie Campers' traffic acquisition team, we are hiring a Marketing Intern for the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). As part of our Sales team, reporting to the SEO & Inbound Marketing Lead, this role aligns analytical and creative skills with a Sales and result-achievement mindset. The position is based in Indie Campers' HQ in Lisbon.

We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Marketing Intern with a clear growth-oriented mindset, who is inspired by Indie Campers' mission of democratizing road trips, enabling the freedom of movement and connecting travellers worldwide. Your commitment, problem-solving approach and proactivity will play a critical role in the achievement of the target results.

What you´ll do:

  • Assist the execution of an SEO and inbound marketing strategy across SEO, content, PR, B2B partnerships, link building, campaigns, offline events and additional traffic generation channels for the DACH markets;
  • Assist the execution of a consistent PR strategy and the overall link building efforts across the DACH markets;
  • Create and implement content across multiple web domains and entities for the DACH markets (website, blog, itineraries, POIs, experiences, accommodation, app, email, social media);
  • Adapt, translate and/or transcreate, in the most accurate manner, all needed copy, materials and/or documents needed for any potential website changes or other communications;
  • Track the organic performance across the DE, AT and CH web domains, search engines and overall channels;
  • Participate in the implementation of new strategies across new channels, search engines, social media platforms and tools to enhance reach and scale on the DACH markets;
  • Be involved in the acquisition strategy of hosts for the launch and development of the company's rental marketplace on the DACH markets, alongside the Marketplace team;
  • Analyze, review and scrape competitors' SEO and overall marketing strategies and tactics in order to benchmark marketing activity on an ongoing basis;
  • Compile needed reports to assist decision-making.

Who you are:

  • You're a student in Business, Marketing, Tourism or any related field (Bachelor's or Master's);
  • Available for a full-time paid internship;
  • Passionate about working in travel and at a fast-paced international company;
  • Content strategy and production skills across different channels;
  • Strong outreach skills, with a go-getter mindset;
  • Experience with blog management via Wordpress is a plus;
  • Hard focus on real performance and not vanity metrics;
  • High levels of proactivity and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude ("get stuff done" mindset);
  • Native in German and highly fluent in English.
