Responsabilities:
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of pipe contracts for our national and international projects and will play an important role in both the sales and project phases. During the sales phase, you will provide technical support to the seller and customer, develop concept drawings, make price calculations and prepare offers.
During the project phase, you will be responsible for the quality and development of the final design and construction of the pipe systems, make the necessary calculations and prepare and maintain the design manual and plant documentation. In collaboration with our purchasing and production department, you will prepare production bases and BOMs, as well as selecting components and suppliers. You will enter new ways of collaborating by outsourcing entire or partial tasks to subcontractors, just as you must manage and develop collaborative networks for our drawing work.
LNG being one of our newer business areas, the position involves several development tasks, and you will have the opportunity to greatly influence the chosen solutions.
Qualifications:
You can maintain the full overview during the planning of design activities, with a great focus on quality, finance, and time management of the contracts in question. You are a strong organizer who are passionate about what you are dealing with and are good at communicating both in writing and speaking.
Since most of your time will be spent on tasks in the project phase, we are looking for a colleague with a sense of structure, details and quality. You must be able to work with several projects simultaneously and appear welcoming and positive towards colleagues and suppliers, who approach us daily with questions and need for support.
As LNG is still in the development phase in many areas, we are looking for a person who can think outside the box and offer ideas for the development of new concept solutions in the sales phase, as well as find technical solutions to problems in the project phase.
We imagine that you are:
· A trained engineer or similar, preferably with an additional trade school education
· Experienced in international pipeline projects and ideally with knowledge of the gas/oil industry
· Experienced in drawing pipe systems in PLANT or similar and are a proficient MS Office user
· Knowledgeable in pipe standards and norms as well as conducting HAZOPs
· Fluent in English in writing and speaking
· Proactive and engaging
· Inquisitive with a high work ethic
· Availability to work from time to time at headquarters in Denmark
As we work within the project world, there will be days or short periods where we will have to work overtime to execute projects on time. However, we offer great work flexibility in return.
