We are looking for an enthusiastic new member for our Finance Team at our Lisbon Headquarters. The Junior Accountant will be part of a team responsible for accounting and tax matters of all the companies of the Group. As Junior Accountant you will treat with national and international accounting and tax rules. You could experience an international environment as you will be in contact with our business partners in each country and with your colleagues.

What you´ll do:

  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded;
  • Perform bank reconciliations;
  • Reconcile Accounts payables and receivables;
  • Enter and file (digital archive) accounting documents;
  • Assist Senior Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings; ? Provide input into department's goal setting process;
  • Assist with other accounting projects.

Who you are:

  • Degree in accounting, tax, finance or management;
  • Good knowledge of accounting best practices and bookkeeping (is a plus);
  • Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft excel;
  • Knowledge of an accounting software is a plus (preferably Primavera);
  • Team worker and ability to work under pressure;
  • Prioritization and organization skills;
  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Eligible for a IEFP Internship.
