As a Finance Assistant, you will be working in a tight-knit Finance and Operations team ensuring that our financial flows and processes are run smoothly. You will be working closely with the Head of Business Operations and have exposure to the Senior Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments and wants to work in an international tech company.

Challenges & Responsibilities
Organizing, communicating with and paying suppliers;
Producing accounting registries, issuing invoices and credit notes;
Tracking incoming payments between bank accounts and customer balances;
Preparing KYC and KYS documentation both at a corporate level, with banking institutions, accountants, auditors, as well as clients;
Prepare and iterate on office budgets according to Finance guidelines;
Review purchase orders and request according to guidelines, approve, pay & update the documentation accordingly;
Review bank statements, make reconciliations and deep dive on differences;
Preparing monthly documentation to be provided to the certified accountants;
Provide general administrative support to all business areas of the company.
We are looking for someone with:
Can demonstrate 2-4 years previous experience in a similar financial/accounting administrative role;
Comfortable working with different invoicing and banking systems, having been exposed to Xero is a bonus;
Professional experience working with Excel on a daily basis;
Fluent in English & Portuguese;
Strong organization, time-management, ability to prioritize efficiently, and attention to detail;
Excellent listening, communication, and analytical skills to articulate complex legal issues clearly and concisely to cross-functional teams;
Self-starting, with a sense of urgency and ability to independently push through problems to find solutions;
Positive, open-minded, positive towards change, and able to adapt;
