OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Janssen EMEA has embarked on a very ambitious roadmap to enhance our customer engagement. To support this transformation effort, we?re looking for a strategic project manager, who would be supporting key CDS transformational projects and scaling of new go-to-market approaches across our portfolio and across the region.
The strategic project manager reports to the Innovation & Operational Excellence team in our Customer & Digital Strategy (CDS) department and work in close collaboration with all functions in our CDS department (digital strategy, data & analytics, business insights, capability building). He/she specifically supports across 4 dimensions:
- Identify different types of go-to-market approaches for our current and future portfolio working in collaboration with the digital strategy team (e.g., centralized digital marketing, mix of in-person & remote tactics, fully in-person driven empowered by digital analytics) and orchestrate our effort across digital & analytics team.
- Support CDS transformational projects with cross-functional project management, connecting with and managing interdependencies between various functional workstreams (e.g., business insights, data & analytics, content management, website marketing capabilities, capabilities building, legal and compliance) and defining new ways of working across local and regional teams
- Support scaling of best practices from key transformational projects across portfolio of Janssen brands (e.g., new engagement models, digital marketing, capabilities building) working in collaboration with our CDS functional teams.
- Bring thought leadership on latest trends in go-to-market models in pharma to inform and further shape our digital and analytics strategic roadmap

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Master?s degree or above in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable expert in field of omnichannel and digital marketing (e.g., SEO, social media marketing, website marketing)
- Solid understanding and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and changes in the commercialization and marketing strategies
- Demonstrable expert in practice of agile methodologies; including (not exclusive): sprint design, design thinking, scrum
- Strong understanding of the implications of working in matrix type of organization for implementation of large transformational projects
- Presenter and able to lead multiple levels of organization from Managing Directors to Product Managers through thinking process
- Creative approach to needs, curiosity, open mind and strong ability to learn
- Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in additional EMEA languages would be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in virtual teams.
- Aware of and adherence to J&J Credo values, SOPs, policies and guidelines.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 8+ years business experience is required with a proven track record of working within highly matrixed environments and cross functional teams.
- A minimum of 5+ years working on strategic project management and operational excellence
- A minimum of 5+ years working on customer engagement, omnichannel & digital marketing
- Experience in customer engagement in regulated industries (banking, insurance, medical devices?), strong preference for previous experience in healthcare industries
- Management skills in a context of multi-expert and multi-cultural team, composed of both contracted and potentially internal JnJ talents
- A track-record in change management in various dimensions: communication, training, change advocacy, goal-settings?
The role is EMEA based and will involve travel (50%) within the home country and across the EMEA region.
