As a Localization Project Manager, you will work closely with the product managers in the execution of localization projects by managing critical components of the localization workflow to increase translation quality and decrease time-to-market. We're looking for someone who is an advocate for cultural nuances, has a deep understanding of the business needs and buying behavior of the Latam market, has strong organizational and problem-solving skills, likes to execute swiftly, and is detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and collect business and systems requirements, write project plans, and drive project schedules from development commit to release;
  • Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts to develop optimal solutions to support the localization program across engineering, marketing, content, and customer and business support;
  • Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and any other means necessary;
  • Communicate internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, strategies, and timelines;
  • Work with content creators, customer strategy owners, and content teams to define and streamline processes upstream and drive localization best practices;
  • Help manage our user community Help Center translation program (maintain documentation, handle user outreach, build a self-serve process);
  • Manage, execute and own traditional localization program management tasks, such as working with stakeholders to define localization scope, coordinating handoffs and handbacks with the internal content team or language service providers, supporting the deployment of localized assets as well as bug fixing, implementation, and testing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree;
  • Two to four years of project management experience, at least one year of which is in digital wallet, neobank, POS and/or QR code payments solutions;
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UX/UI, customer support, finance or marketing;
  • Hands-on management experience of cross-functional teams that are based in various locations and timezones;
  • Since this role would be working with teams based in different cities, an intermediate level of English is required. We are looking for someone who is able to write in, understand, and speak English comfortably.
