Your life as Customer Service Specialist

Our customer service team aims to provide an exceptional support, proactively and reactively, across multiple communication channels. We want to ensure that all queries are fully documented and responded to, efficient and effectively, by the relevant staff. Besides that, our purpose is also to maintain a close relationship with internal stakeholders, and act as finance partners. Reporting to the team leader, a customer service specialist is expected to perform a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Receive and handle inbound customer questions/queries via calls and emails;

  • Creation of customer tickets using the internal tool Service Now;

  • Ensure a right first time and accurate approach for solving our customers issues;

  • Build and manage customer relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams;

  • Participate, when requested, in Continual Service Improvement initiatives representing the functional area of expertise;

  • Live and breathe the customer focus we pride ourselves on here;

  • Ensure, as far as the role dictates, that financial affairs are conducted in accordance with Group Principles & processes;

  • Maintain an ethical approach to business in line with the Thales? Ethics Policy

About you

  • Advanced knowledge/native speaker in German;

  • Full proficiency in English;

  • Experience in a Customer Service role in a complex matrix organisation with multiple customers;

  • Background or experience in finance or equivalent is valued;

  • Prior experience of working within a team environment, in which a supportive team resolves bigger issues together and helps one another succeed;

  • Good Microsoft Office & use of IT tools
