Job Description

This vacancy is one of the very limited chances to join the Electronics and Controls R&D group from the water heating business of Bosch. The group is responsible for the development of the solutions that control and connect our product portfolio.

The most successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary and experienced team, with software and hardware competencies, and gets the opportunity to support the whole development lifecycle journey of our fascinating products.

Your contribution to something big:

• Develop software for automation test systems with hardware in the loop (e.g. Control Units, Wireless Gateways);
• Set up and maintain test environments for product components and its integration;
• Design and implement automatic and manual test cases;
• Drive product test plans for new and running projects;
• Identify opportunities to automate testing, drive and support its implementation;
• Maintain close and transparent contact with the team and stakeholders regarding test activities, procedures, and progress;
• Support the organization to continuously improve on assuring product quality.

Qualifications

What we expect from you:

• High motivation for quality assurance and embedded software coding experience;
• Willingness to work within a highly cooperative and agile team;
• Pro-activeness and focus on solutions;
• Good communication skills (Portuguese and English);
• Availability to do some business travels.

What adds value to your application:

• Degree in Informatics, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering or similar;
• ISTQB or TMAP certification;
• Experience with test automation frameworks for Embedded SW (i.e. Robot Framework);
• Usage of embedded controller architectures and knowledge about state of the art software testing techniques and methodologies;
• Previous contact with AGILE development using common frameworks (e.g. Scrum or SAFe);
• Experience with GIT, Jenkins and Atlassian (JIRA, Xray, R4J) tools.
