The VALUE TEAM is responsible for supporting our organization in developing its value strategy, keeping our prices competitive, stable and logical, and for making sure that we invest our money sensibly through effective promotions. We do this by using powerful analytics, tools as well as competitive intelligence, working closely with the different commercial areas, providing insights and expertise to support them to make the right decisions. As a member of this team, you will be working closely with multiple company stakeholders and will be responsible for conducting and presenting challenging analysis, drafting solutions and recommendations, and tracking/supporting their implementation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (commercial, operations, IT and/or finance teams)
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


You will need:

  • Strong academic background, with preference for engineering, economics or management
  • At least 2 years working experience in management consulting or a strategic, finance or commercial role in retail, FMCG or a related industry
  • Proven working experience as a project manager and strong process management capabilities
  • Quantitative background: proven ability to analyze and synthesize data
  • Presentation prowess: ability to prepare and articulate compelling presentations with clear and structured storytelling
  • Good communicator (in Portuguese and English) and with relationship management skills: ability to work, present and communicate to mid-level management
  • Team orientated: strong interpersonal skills and proactive self-starter who can work independently
  • Problem solver: ability to break down and simplify ambiguous problems into executable actions
  • Experience with SQL preferential (but not mandatory)
