We are looking for a Cloud Service Manager for our Feedzai Cloud organization in Product Engineering.

With Cloud at its core, Engineering is responsible for all Feedzai product development. Together with Product Management and Data Science, we are building the next generation of tools to catch fraud in real time with a machine learning first approach. Formed by engineers and managed by engineers, at Feedzai you will find one of the most talented teams out there from junior to senior engineers that provide a safe, open and collaborative environment leading to a continuous learning of everyone. While building the best value for our customers, you will be exposed to a wide range of technical challenges such as building distributed systems that need to operate 24/7 and ultra-low latencies.

The Cloud Service Manager requires a combination of business oriented mindset and technical knowledge. It will evaluate business needs and technical requirements in order to evolve Feedzai's Cloud processes and service model into SaaS, and optimize consumption. The Cloud Service Owner will work in increasingly close cooperation with other business organizations such as Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Customer Success amongst others.


Responsibilities:

  • Definition and delivery of the overall cloud service strategy with key focus on evolution towards SaaS business model
  • Managing cloud service delivery and provide service expertise, leadership and collaborate with key stakeholders to enable Cloud as key enabler to business strategy
  • Identifies and manages dependencies between services or service roadmaps and planned changes in other areas
  • Monitor total Cloud service costs and continuous service cost saving, planning and estimation accuracy
  • Contributes to solve business escalations
  • Accountable for service full lifecycle and respective processes (implementation, maturation and refinement of our service management and delivery/support processes)
  • Accountable to drive cloud estate lifecycle management best practices
  • Review Service Level Agreements for service performance

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years strong experience with technical background in areas such as Infrastructure or Product Development
  • 3+ years experience in designing, implementing and/or supporting Cloud solutions
  • 2+ years experience enabling IT services to support Cloud environments
  • 2+ years experience in FinOps (IT costs management such as budget definition, track and allocation) for Cloud solutions
  • Experience working on projects that move quickly that have ever-changing process and structure
  • Experience working in Agile driven teams
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, adaptability, problem solving, communication and critical thinking
  • Solution oriented, and when issues arise, be able to roll up sleeves and tackle them with a 'get it done' attitude. Outstanding on problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Team player with a clear focus on taking the performance of teams to the next level
  • Certifications in ITIL and Agile desirable
  • Certifications in Public Cloud platforms desirable (e.g AWS, Azure, GCP)
