We are currently seeking a PMO - Project Management Officer (M/F) ? Fluent in English & French, based in

Lisbon

, Portugal.

The PMO will manage local projects ensuring that a proper project governance is in place (sponsor, committees, budget, calendar etc...), managing all phases from requirements definition until completion and sign-off.

To ensure that projects result in the required deliverables being provided on time and in line with the expected quality and budget restrictions.

Projects could cover any departments of Cardif Services & Cardif Support or be transversal/cross-metiers initiatives under the leadership of the Head of Strategy & Development.

  • Comply with Corporate Project Management Methodology;
  • Manage different projects stages from envisioning through
  • implementation to ensure projects completion efficiently and meet requirements;
  • Define project vision, scope, goals and deliverables;
  • Identify opportunities for on boarding of new activities and potential clients;

Main Functions:

  • Actively manage projects progression using a project plans, issue logs and status reports;
  • Sustain the project direction;
  • Act as the front face to the client, agreeing structure, requirements and operating models, meeting on a regular basis and providing updates and handling client concerns;
  • Support the identification of process improvements with subsequent ownership of improvement execution;
  • Communicate and report clearly and effectively with senior management, stakeholders and operational teams;
  • Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Control and ensure approvals to model changes, SLA?s and impact to the activity;
  • Work with team leads of each operational area to set strategy, create reporting and monitoring templates and deploy project into all areas of the organization;
  • Establishes and maintains timelines and budgets for projects and resources,
  • Responsibility for the implementation of activities, from start to completion;

Qualifications Required:

  • Holder of a degree or higher education diploma;
  • 1st experience in client facing roles valued;
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially with EXCEL mandatory; MS Project skills are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of written and oral English and French (other languages such as Italian, German or others will also be valued);
  • Experience with transfers of activities from parent locations to shared service center.

  • Methodology consistency
  • Good understanding of Cardif and BNP Paribas Group organization is a plus
  • Previous experience in PMO role, in Risk Management, Governance or with the coordination of projects within Process Units is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written is key to interact with senior managers, key actors.
  • Strong presentation skills (experience in coordinating, animating workshops, governances)
  • Experience in coordination / animating Workshops, Governances (setting up the agenda, communicating the agenda, preparing the materials, writing and sharing the minutes, follow-up on action plans)
  • Strong analytical skills (Capacity to synthetize and understand complex projects / processes, data crunching)
  • Highly organized and ability for multi-task
  • Team player with high ethics to support whenever required
  • Rigorous, autonomous with strong interpersonal skills
  • Fast learner
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Resilient, flexible and stress-resistant
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
  • Able to impact/influence decisions & individuals

Any Other Additional Requirements:

Willing and able to work outside normal office hours under exceptional circumstances.

Ability to travel outside & within the Portugal
