Joining the OTC team, you will work with all departments across the company, playing a key role in managing the risks, giving guidance and support to the business.


CREDIT MANAGER ? OTC Department


Your role:

  • Assessment and monitoring of credit risk according to regulatory and internal risk policies and procedures.
  • Interaction with different departments and stakeholders as part of the credit process, on a local and international scale.
  • Preparation of written credit proposals combining financials analysis with business information to support credit committee decisions regarding the customer's risk of default, credit rating and adequacy of the proposed financing.
  • Approve or reject credit requests, based on credibility and potential revenues and losses.
  • Negotiate credit terms with customers.
  • Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers.
  • Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.


To be successful in this role you?ll need:

  • Relevant credit/risk management experience of at least 5 years in a fast-paced, highly demanding, multinational environment, as well as general finance knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management or Accounting.
  • Good level of Spanish (at least B1 level) and English.
  • Business minded with an ability to convey a balanced sense of risk.
  • Detail oriented, with a solid knowledge of financial analysis under several accounting standards, including recent changes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage different stakeholders.
  • Efficient organizational and planning capacities.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, especially excel and powerpoint, as well as in SAP.
  • Location: Azeitão, being required availability to travel within Country and abroad.
