Being responsible for the health and operations of our platform, your primary focus will be to maintain our systems up to date, implement security components and follow the company's procedures and policies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services, through deployment, operation and refinement
• Support services before they go live
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Supervise infrastructure and application services and drive incident management

Skills:

• Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent Scripting & Automation skills
• Knowledge of AWS systems, services and APIs
• Detailed understanding of databases in general
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
• Familiarity with continuous integration systems
• Ability to debug and optimize operations code and automate routine tasks
• Proficient understanding of Git and Docker containers
• Experience in deploying and maintaining container based web services on AWS or other cloud platform
• Financial Services industry experience is a plus (not required)

Education

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
