A multinational Renewable Energy company is currently looking for its Remote Operations and Dispatch Center Manager for its facilities based in Greater Porto area.

About the Remote Operations and Dispatch Center Manager role
The Remote Operations and Dispatch Center Manager will manage and supervise the Remote Control Center operations for all the Companies renewable energy assets, following company defined contract management agreements. Working closely with Power Generation, O&M, Trading and reporting to the COO, the Remote Operations and Dispatch Center Manager main functions will be to:

• Insure assets optimum performance through Remote Control and Monitorization, identifying and implementing systems and process improvements, as well as performance KPIs and maintenance records,
• Develop, implement and monitor assets optimum operating standards
• Follow-up and register all operational downtimes providing on-time resolution as well as thorough analysis for a posterior process reengineering implementation
• Veil for the correct information flow on diagnostics, emergencies and downtimes, designing and implementing improvement actions on deviation, events and incidents detection systems
• Develop algorithms for the Dispatch Center and for Information Analysis System for calculation and improvements follow-up
• Review and control contract management, reporting on potential deviations
• Veil for Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Plans development
• Support on data collection for monthly and annual reporting on operational, economic and finance performance for thrice internal, external and institutional stakeholders

For this position, we require a mid-Senior professional with a 5 years + experience in a similar position within the Renewable Energy sector, with a proven success track record implementing Operating Standards in hydropower plants.

Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory, a third European language such as Spanish is a strong plus. Strong analytic and strategic outlook of renewable energy assets management and the inherent industrial and economic efficiency and environmental factors as well as proven leadership and communication skills are mandatory.
