Technology Area.
General description and main responsibilities:

• Define the strategy to roll-out the best fit-to-purpose methodologies, frameworks and tools for quality assurance, that fit into

Effizency
working methods;

• Develop well-structured test plans for:

(a) Product development,
(b) Project delivery in new clients and
(c) On an ongoing basis;

• Prioritize, run tests and lead the testing processes:

(a) For new and existing products and their software and applications, in collaboration with the product development and software development teams;
(b) For the roll-out of existing products in new clients, in collaboration with the delivery and software development teams;
(c) On an ongoing basis, efficiently and in an automated way when applicable, to ensure the stability, integrity and performance of the solutions, across products and clients.

• Ensure prioritization of tests according to business priorities and fitting into multiple working methodologies that may be applicable (e.g. agile, waterfall);
• Ensure all-round software testing for front-end, back-end, integration/ APIs, databases, libraries, plug-ins, queuing systems, and other;
• Record, monitor and track tests results and other quality assurance metrics with detail-oriented capabilities;
• Assist and/ or lead the identification of issues' root causes with a mindset of full cycle from design to delivery;
• Communicate and discuss the results with relevant stakeholders, including internal stakeholders and Save to Compete Clients, with a solution driven mindset;
• Infuse best practices in the team for quality assurance during all the development and delivery cycle.

Who are we looking for
:

• Academic background: bachelor or master's degree ideally in software engineering or electrotechnical engineering; other backgrounds also considered, according to experience;
• More than one year of

experience
in software quality assurance methodologies and tools (e.g. defect management, database management), and/ or the ability to build knowledge and expertise to work with different/ new methodologies and tools;

• Hands-on experience with testing processes (e.g. Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Full Stack Testing and Root Cause Analysis);
• User of programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, SASS, VBScript, Python, C#), and/ or ability to build knowledge and expertise in other/ new languages;
• Advanced user of SQL and scripting;
• Independent, autonomous, self-driven, detail oriented, problem solver, inquisitive and with good communication skills;
• A tester certification (considered a strong plus);
• Knowledge of the energy sector (considered a plus);
• Advanced programming experience (considered a plus).
• Languages: English (fluent).
