Job Description


Your contribution to something big:

As a Purchasing Engineer inside the Execution Open Flue team you will be responsible for the technical purchasing of new parts and components in development projects, drive time to market process and introduction of new parts. You wil be expected to:

  • Lead technical discussions with suppliers and engineering, promoting supplier visits and simultaneous engineering sessions;
  • Initiate, coordinate and bring forward preventative quality;
  • Focus on target costing, identify cost improvement ideas with suppliers, and provide cost estimation and tracking;
  • Contribute to achieve target costs and target dates for milestones and quality;
  • Align strategy, communication and processes with TTRW/PUR department;
  • Prepare supplier awarding for new parts, and ensure the project schedule in respect to part deliveries;
  • Be involved in Research Feasibility projects.

Qualifications


What distinguishes you:

  • Academic degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics engineering or equivalent;
  • >5 years of working experience in Purchasing or Engineering;
  • Experienced in applying negotiation tools;
  • Structured and analytical way of working;
  • Results oriented and pro-active attitude;
  • High level of English proficiency;
  • High level of social skills;
  • Availability for traveling;
  • PC literate (e. g.: MS Office);
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
