Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Business Analyst (PeopleSoft) to join our teams in the Financial Services sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

MAIN MISSION

• As a member of the Peoplesoft demand team, the candidate will lead the Order to Cash - PC/GL,EX & AM scope of maintenance support, change requests as functional expert.
• The main mission is to support to the end users in their daily usage of the application, provide L2/L3 support and ensure the quality of service and contribute as expert in project scoping and delivery.

DIMENSION OF ROLE

• Give a view on the dimension of the position as pertaining to the key figures of the position: budget managed, team size,?
• As part of a team of 3 Business analyst and a Product Owner, your responsibilities:

o Maintenance Support
o L2/L3 support to end users: fix issues, training
o Tickets qualification
o Quality of service
o SLA respect
o Provide functional expertise to L2 BAU technical team offshore
o Analyse root causes and provide solutions to recurring issues
Project functional expertise:
o Assess and complete the business requirements
o Contribute to design document
o Ensure end user UAT support
o Quality of Service
o Respect of SLA
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
85% L1/L2 maintenance support
o Tickets functional qualification
o Ensure the BAU process respect and the SLA
o Stream lead and senior expertise to provide functional expertise to technical teams
o Provide end users support, training
o Continuous improvement: identify recurring issues and propose permanent fix
o Upskill end users to enable them to provide the L1 support to the Finance community
15% Analysis of Business requirements, Design solutions and BAU
o Participate in the core design definition
o Carry out the analysis of the business requirements raised by countries in terms of feasibility, operability and fit to the Core design
o Provide support to the Finance team in their analysis of the countries requirements impact on the system
o Carry out design cross tools, provide an overall design
o Coordination with the tool?s oriented teams to provide a more detailed overall solution, overall estimates and overall presentation
o Perform functional specification

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must have :
o Strong knowledge of Peoplesoft on : Project Costing PC & General Ledger GL
o Good Knowledge on:
o Travel and Expenses which covers the modules Expenses EX,
o Asset Management AM
o Strong knowledge of:
o Accounting and Controlling business processes
o Good knowledge of SQL
o Proven experience (5+ years) in analysing business requirements and designing solutions in PC/GL / EX
o ?Pack office fluent? (especially on xls and ppt)
Optional but recommended :
o Peoplesoft modules on
o P2P : Purchasing (PR,PO, GR),Account Payables (AP);
o Order to Cash : Client Contract CA, Billing BI, Account Receivable AR, General Ledger
o Navision
o Sales Force
o Application Designer
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS
o Good understanding of the Order to Cash processes
o Ability to anticipate issues and react promptly
o Ability to interact with teams in various geographies, various tools scope, various backgrounds
o Ability to listen and adapt, synthesize
o Strong team player with ability to be independent when needed
LANGUAGE SKILLS

• English : fluent both orally and written

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

• Ability to speak in public, ability to perform presentations in meetings.
• Ability to deal with remote teams (internal, external)
• Coordinate, push, convince and support Accounting and Controlling stake-holders
• Listening, ability to cope with many interlocutors, share and diffuse information wisely & widely
• Ability to lead the stream
• Be proactive, take initiatives, get info where it is, reactivity, know-how to take in account tasks without hierarchical control.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• More than 5 years? experience in an international Peoplesoft ? FSCM project environments
