In this role you will

As a CloudOps Engineer, you will be an integral member of the DevOps team whose responsibility includes prototyping, designing, developing and supporting a highly scalable cloud based architecture.

• Ensure the container orchestration platform is maintained and services running on it are released without any downtime.
  
• Ensure the proper operation and evolution of the logging infrastructure based on Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Kibana & Logstash.
• Ensure platform all services are performing optimally by measuring and monitoring their availability, latency, performance and system health.
  
• Design and implement required failover mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the the platform.
• Develop and maintain automated processes, tools to support platform operations.
  
• Assist with security audits.

To succeed you need

• Versed in IBM Cloud / Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Experience in operating and administrating Kubernetes clusters
• Deep knowledge in the Elastic Stack (focus on Elasticsearch)
• Well versed with CI/CD (Jenkins, Concourse, etc)
• Good Linux system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentals
• Good programming background in Shell, Ruby, Python or Golang or other similar language
• Strong analytical and debugging skills

This is a full-time position, based in our office in Lisbon. We have a fantastic team with people from all over the world. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines. English is the main working language.
