Key Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Business Analyst, you possess exemplary skills in the profession and strong team-building acumen to share with your reports via coaching and education in best practices.
  • As a leader, you will provide an escalation path and direction for staff embedded in globally-aligned functions largely based out of London and Singapore.
  • You will work with the Global Environmental Products business and have a deep commercial understanding of Carbon credits, emissions, and biofuels.
  • You will support the delivery streams working on systems that underpin the transaction pipes from deal capture to settlements in all aspects of analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, stakeholder relationship management, business process change, testing, project delivery, and service delivery.
  • You will use structured business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies to ensure that delivered IT&S; solutions successfully meet the expectations of business stakeholders.
  • You will work in an iterative Scrum/Agile development environment that will include sprint planning, daily scrums, prioritization, and retrospectives. You will be expected to work with product owners to generate and prioritize the product backlog items for the development team, create and validate test scenarios for system and user acceptance testing.

Experience and Skills

  • Degree-level qualification
  • Must have extensive experience as a Business Analyst performing:
    • Analysis and Design:
      • Elicit requirements from business partners at all levels, including leading requirements and design workshops. Ensure these requirements eliminate ambiguity, conflict, and duplication.
      • Configure key systems to support these requirements
      • Produce high-quality analysis, including collecting precise and accurate user stories and acceptance criteria to be used by developers and test automation frameworks.
      • Understand system constraints and opportunities to inform design.
      • Work with design and architecture on design options and potential systems and process solutions.
      • Use tools to manage requirements and traceability.
      • Manage cross-team consensus and acceptance of requirements, ensuring meaningful sign-offs
    • Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
      • Builds strong connections with commercial partners at all levels
      • Manages relationships in a global team with a global user community
    • Project Delivery:
      • Manage the backlog and priority
      • Support the full project lifecycle, including delivery and Early Life Support.
      • Manages dependencies with other delivery workstreams
      • Provide quality assurance on analysis through peer review
      • Deliver clear user communications
      • Manages user expectations
    • Testing:
      • Collaborate well with the offshore test team.
      • Write test scenarios for both automated and manual testing.
      • Perform regression and End to End testing.
      • Conduct User Acceptance Testing.
    • Data:
      • Analyze data flows.
      • Model data requirements.
      • Database Technical Understanding:
      • Proficient usage of SQL to interrogate data.
      • Use of Excel add-ins for the option pricing model.

Nice to Have?s

  • Background in finance
  • Notions or experience in Trading, if possible in Commodities
  • Experienced in Openlink Endur, ideally v14 and above.
  • Experience working in the UK
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience with Agile Teams
