About the role:

The Marketing Technology & Platform team at Cloudflare sits at the intersection of web engineering, user experience design, and digital go-to-market. The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible to design, optimize and implement scalable marketing automation solutions to deliver personalized conversations across email, web and other channels that resonate across the customer journey. You put the user experience first but also have a growth mindset and thrive on improving conversion and ultimately revenue.

You will collaborate across the sales, partner, acquisition, expansion, BI data, business systems and web engineering teams to prioritize, execute and unblock key initiatives by maximizing the existing marketing automation platform cross functionally to drive conversions. You are passionate about the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation to use in identifying opportunities that improve the customer experience and accelerate our business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the configuration of the marketing automation platform including but not limited to implementing custom APIs, integrating third party applications, setting up advanced data segmentations, designing custom workflows and more.
• Drive and collaborate on initiatives that require leveraging existing technology integration and automation to improve cross-team collaboration, maximize efficiency gains and drive scalable solutions.
• Understand the customer lifecycle journey to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and partner channel stakeholders to continuously improve and create processes for lead capture, management, scoring, routing and attribution.
• Maintain data within marketing systems in regards to data governance and quality.
• Evaluate new technologies and systems when needed to improve and optimize performance.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• 5+ years of experience in marketing automation and/or marketing operations setting up an enterprise level marketing automation platform.
• Preferred experience in supporting customer (upsell / cross-sell) marketing and partner / channel go-to-market.
• Deep domain expertise and hands on experience working with marketing and sales technology tools: Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce, LeanData, Contentful, Google Marketing Platform and ABM tools.
• Technically savvy with solid understanding of APIs, Webhooks, HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency with system integration principles.
• Previous experience in fast growing technology companies preferably with both B2B SaaS and B2C ecommerce business models a plus.
