The position

Hottinger Brüel & Kjær is looking for an experienced Social Media and Video Coordinator to join our Corporate Marketing team. We are sharpening our focus on the international reach and engagement of our social media channels, and you will play a key role in the ongoing work of strengthening the international image and awareness of HBK.
You will be responsible for managing and updating global social media channels to strengthen the reach and engagement of our content. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You will play a strong role in our ongoing effort to strengthen the international profile of HBK, and position HBK as a great place to work.

You will work closely together with colleagues from within the department, Regional Marketing colleagues, and stakeholders from the various business segments. You will head the global social media collaboration forum and drive community management.

Primary responsibilities

You will be working with/responsible for?.

• Performing research on current social media benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.
• Create video pieces that bring picture and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story ? that being brand or product focused.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in social media

Professional qualifications

• Proven work experience as a social media coordinator, video editor or similar
• Hands on experience in content management
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Knowledge of social marketing channels
• Proven work experience with video editing and/or graphic design
• Creative mind and storytelling skills

• Fluent in both written and spoken English
