Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
adidas Shared Services in Porto delivers high quality services for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Retail Accounting, eCommerce Accounting and other Finance processes as well as HR Services for adidas companies located in Europe and Americas.
Responsible to support improvement initiatives and respective implementation in area of responsibility. Drive KPIs for respective area. Be the main contact for area GPO team and GBS Porto Delivery Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct support to Team Lead in process OM topics (ticketing, dispatching, auditing, improvements, problem solving)
  • Support in implementing and monitoring of defined Internal controls
  • Identification of process deviations and discrepancies
  • Coordinate and monitorize KPIs in the team
  • Actively participate in Gemba walks and support to improvement opportunities identification
  • Revision of DTPs for area of OM
  • Stakeholder management regarding different topics in EMEA, LAM, etc.
  • Performing general and more complex administration of HR Services tools, programmes, and processes on a local and partially European and global level
  • Handle standard & complex inquiries & support through ticket service or via phone (if required)
  • Timely execute assigned tasks and more complex issues according to defined processes, timetables, and service levels in compliance with tariff and works agreements, e. g.
  • Perform and oversee bulk document creation and distribution processes
  • Maintain personnel and organizational data according to defined processes and standards incl. mass uploads
  • Ensure digitalization of documents and ensure a proper and accurate handled archiving of documents according to defined standards and processes
  • Oversee and execute transfer calculations and determination of appropriate salary offer for international employees
  • Drive the continuous improvement of internal documentation incl. mapped processes and knowledge base articles and act as a reliable author of nominated articles
  • Ensure correct execution of laws and regulations with regards to specific employee master data and organizational data according to defined procedures
  • Participate regularly in workshops and meetings held by subject matter experts
  • Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as adidas' Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies and company agreement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, ideally with SAP HR
  • Strong level of Organizational Management (OM) SAP knowledge
  • E2E process knowledge and respective interactions with other teams
  • Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar
  • Ability to work with high volume and transactional administration issues
  • Team player mentality
  • Strong customer focus and service minded
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
  • Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling or similar.
  • 5 plus years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job function
