Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a development engineer inside the EOF team you will validate the different gas instantaneous open flue water heater appliance samples throughout the project duration. Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform, analyze and interpret the results of tests, draw conclusions and propose technical solutions for solving deviations from the acceptance criteria;
  • Give constructive inputs regarding changes in project or problems, in order to ensure fulfillment of timelines and deliverables;
  • Coordinate and cooperate on quality assurance and product safety, through verification of all applicable standards and regulations;
  • Coordinate the implementation of the quality processes in the development of new products;
  • Define and test safety concepts and failure modes of components, guaranteeing functional specifications and test procedures (functional tests, durability tests, extreme conditions tests and field tests);
  • Define test criteria according to the legal standards in force for each market and type of product, as well as Bosch internal compliance and legal requirements.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Academic degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience > 5 years of professional experience;
  • Strong affinity with laboratory measurement and control engineering;
  • Knowledge on Product engineering tools;
  • Knowledge on Quality tools (Problem solving, FMEA, 6 sigma, SPC and others);
  • Creative, analytical sharpness, structured approach, perseverance, and result orientated;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good level of English: written and spoken;
  • Experience with complete Microsoft Office packagee.
