With a fleet of 1.000+ vehicles, Indie Campers currently operates over 40 locations across Portugal, Spain, France, Italy (+ Sicily & Sardinia), Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Croatia, the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Austria, Sweden and opening more destinations at any moment.

As BD Associate ? Asset Management, you will be responsible for supporting our efforts around all aspects of our asset management department, covering mostly fleet strategy and real estate development. You will be expected to focus on identifying the opportunities, helping to shape a long-term, sustainable, reliable and solid strategy and plan for asset management.

From a Fleet Strategy perspective, you will primarily be involved in guaranteeing the sourcing, financing and lifecycle management of new vehicle models (camper vans, motorhomes, automobiles and potentially other categories/models such as motorbikes, etc.) tailored to our customer needs and business goals. Specifically, you will help identify potential partners in the market (OEMs, dealer networks, auto traders, leasing partners and other industry players), creating key relationships, supporting our negotiation efforts (e.g. commercial terms, SLAs and logistics), as well as planning the in-fleet, shuffles and de-fleet logistic processes for all geographies where Indie Campers operates in. Lastly, you will take responsibility in controlling the performance of our assets from a cost and logistics perspective, in close coordination with our finance and operations team, as well as our vehicle remarketing business unit, so as to guarantee an end-to-end fleet management strategy.

From a real estate perspective, you will support in developing the best strategy to add dozens and potentially hundreds of real estate spaces to our portfolio. You will help drive supply growth of rental stations and parking locations by working with our local team of Regional Operational Managers and Location Managers to identify top-of-the-funnel purchase and lease opportunities for Indie Campers, negotiate purchase prices/leases, manage deal closings, develop the spaces to match our brand and customer requirements and asset manage the properties in Indie Campers' portfolio.

Ultimately, you will play a key "pivot" role, reporting to our Fleet Strategy Manager and Real Estate Development Manager, and taking end-to-end responsibility over entire projects within Indie Campers' main business unit ? Asset Management.

What you´ll do:

  • Gathering and analyzing information, developing analytical frameworks and preparing business cases and negotiation strategies to support the company in launching new vehicle models and real estate locations.
  • Assisting with the end-to-end cycle of fleet and real estate business development opportunities ? Planning, researching, approaching, negotiating and managing relationships with key partners.
  • Supporting in the analysis of both business unit-specific and company-wide decisions regarding operations, processes, and optimization.
  • Coordinating with other departments to plan and monitor implementation of key initiatives around our key assets.
  • Structuring and communicating recommendations on key business development initiatives around fleet strategy and real estate development.
  • Assisting in the structuring, evaluation and pursuit of fundraising activities for our asset development.

Who you are:

  • BA/BS/Masters in Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic operations, planning and/or asset management at high-growth international companies.
  • Early-career background in strategic consulting, asset management and/or investment banking, a strong plus.
  • Good business sense, with an ability to break down problems with a structured thought pattern.
  • Natural commercial mindset, with exceptional great communication, emotional intelligence and sales skills.
  • Effective at using data and building control mechanisms, logical, and having natural aptitude to identify root causes of problems and executing solutions at scale.
  • Self-motivating, with a sense of urgency and a hunger for learning and great team-player.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of German and/or French a strong plus.
