Job Description

Your contribution to something big

  • OSS compliance management, including OSS awareness and kick-off sessions with SW development teams;
  • OSS code audit service for software development teams, including OSS scan report;
  • OSS analysis together with software developer and project leader (e.g. manager, PO);
  • OSS analysis together with purchaser in case of 3rd parties' software;
  • Installation, execution and maintenance of OSS scan environment;
  • Preparation and maintenance of attribution / disclosure documents for fulfilling OSS license obligations;
  • Obligations check and review together with OSS lawyer;
  • Maintenance of whitelist and blacklist regarding OSS and providing consulting to SW development teams since the beginning of products' development;
  • Testing new OSS scan tools and give accurate feedback about them;
  • Participate actively in automation of OSS scan process and propose new ideas how to improve it.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

  • Degree or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
  • Experience in software quality management;
  • Basic knowledge in software programming languages (at least one of the following: Java, C/C++/C#, Swift, Perl, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, etc.);
  • Background of software development tools (Jenkins, Java SDK, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.);
  • Experience with FLOSS, FOSS, OSS communities (and contributions are valued);
  • OSS compliance skills are a plus;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Willingness to work in international teams;
  • Good communication skills (fluent English and Portuguese, German is nice to have);
  • Pro-active, dynamic, organized and responsible attitude;
  • Attention to detail, focus on quality and team player.
