Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Within the Electronics and Controls R&D group, this internship is, for you, the opportunity to experience our professional environment and learn with the best, while contributing for the development electronic controls and connectivity solutions for our water heating product portfolio. You will be challenged to set up an automated continuous integration and deployment environment, for embedded software development, fully integrated with our test setups. For that you will:

• Gather the team needs and system requirements;
• Research and investigate state-of-the-art tools, techniques and similar implementations;
• Create a clear and planned solution proposal and get agreement from the team;
• Iteratively implement and validate your solution with close cooperation with the team.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in Informatics, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering or similar;
• Knowledge about CI/CD tools (i.e. Jenkins, GIT, JIRA) and pipelines experience with scripting languages like python;
• Knowledge about network communication and web interfaces (i.e. MQTT, REST...);
• Knowledge about test automation frameworks (i.e. Robot Framework);
• Willingness to work within a highly cooperative and agile team;
• Pro-activeness and focus on solutions;
• Good communication skills (Portuguese and English);
