TopCompare.be, leading financial comparison platform in Belgium, is looking for an ambitious Functional Product Analyst with a passion for entrepreneurship to join the team and play a key role in creating a thriving Internet company helping thousands of Belgians to save time and money! Working closely with the product manager(s), you will play a key role in transforming business requirements into functional specifications for the development. Based in Lisbon, you will be the glue between our business team in Brussels and the technology team in Lisbon. And once the pandemic is over, you?ll also travel between the two locations!

About You:

• 2+ years of experience as project manager or functional analyst
• You have an analytical mindset to generate insights from data and assess performance metrics
• You have a problem-solving mindset
• You are meticulous and thorough
• You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
• You have a strong knowledge of the principles of software development processes. IT background is a plus!
• You have a great sense of ownership over your work
• Agile/lean framework knowledge is a plus!
• You are fluent in English (written and orally)

Responsibilities:

• Work with business team and key stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate these into functional requirements
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development team
• Work with tech and design team to understand product feasibility and limitations
• Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the development team
• Measure, analyse and report on product and feature performance
• Maintain timely communications with the stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to ensure common understanding of the requirements and the impact to the business area and its customers
• Act as an ambassador for the product. Ensure functional knowledge and documentation
• Identify optimizations to continuously improve our products and the customer conversion rate
