Roche Diagnostics Portugal is recruiting for a Business Director Roche Molecular Solutions (RMS).

Main propose of this role: Lead the RMS Business Area to achieve business goals, including sales and profitability growth in line with the company's vision, strategies and objectives. This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. The Business Director RMS is part of the Roche Diagnostic Portugal [email protected] and Leadership Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the RMS Business Area to achieve business goals, including sales and profitability growth in line with the company's vision, strategies and objectives

  • Full P&L responsibility for RMS and subsequent budget planning and cost monitoring for the business area

  • Complete ownership of marketing, sales and support for RMS

  • Develop and own the objectives and strategy for the department ensuring goals are set and met according to the plans

  • Budget tracking of costs associated with the department

  • Represent RMS Portugal both nationally and internationally through participation in meetings and projects

  • Responsible to lead, plan and follow up the department with the intention of meeting customer needs for on market products marketed by Roche

  • Participate actively in the development of the entire company through sales and marketing meetings /customer meetings

  • Be involved in external stakeholder management and build a strong external network that enables business success

  • Define and implement a clear focus and prioritization of activities to maximize long-term sales and profitability with available resources/investments

  • Participate actively in the development of the Roche Diagnostics Portugal through teamwork within the Leadership Team

  • Promote company vision and strategy as appropriate with customers, Roche colleagues, employees, and all relevant business contacts

  • Develop, communicate, and administer any supplementary functional policies and procedures necessary, within the overall framework of Company policy and procedure.

Being successful as Business Director Roche Molecular Solutions you have following qualifications and skills:

  • Higher Business and/or Technical/Scientific education. MSc/PhD

  • Several years of leadership experience

  • Several years of relevant commercial experience within IVD or Healthcare industry.

  • Fluent in English

  • Planning, prioritization and leadership skills

  • Communication, training, and presentation skills

  • Able to create trustful relations with local and international stakeholders

  • Strong customer focus and sense of urgency

  • Passion to innovate, learn and manage changes

  • Focus to create value and deliver results
