The Role

Content Administrator

As the Content Administrator, you will be a part of the CARMA Content Hub team, based in Lisbon. The Content Hub is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the media content that CARMA monitors from hundreds of thousand of sources across the world on a daily basis, and that it distributes to hundreds of clients across the CARMA network, in Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East.

The Content Administrator will deal with any issues that arise in respect of the accuracy or relevance of media content that it processes. They will use the diagnostic tools that CARMA has developed to be able to investigate the issues as and when they are reported and be able to make the required changes to correct the reported issues.

The Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Responding promptly and effectively to all media content issues that come through from across the CARMA network
  • Using the CARMA diagnostic tools effectively to assess the reasons behind inaccurate or irrelevant content
  • Making the necessary changes to content profiles to fix reported issues
  • Reporting to the appropriate CARMA depts that reported issues have been fixed
  • Recording the number of content issues raised on a day to day basis
  • Profiling and adding new content sources that are required to the CARMA source list
  • Developing good working relationships with the various CARMA departments whom the Content Hub team will work closely with on a day to day basis

- The Key skills & Qualifications Required

  • Degree holder/graduate
  • Strong knowledge of Wordand Excel

- Great attention to detail and the highest level of accuracy

  • Written and spoken English of highest standard
  • Ability to efficiently plan workload to prioritise and meet client requirements

- High degree of numeracy

- Strong Interest in news media and current affairs

- FLUENT IN ENGLISH (written and spoken) IS MANDATORY

- Fluency in additional language(s) other than English an advantage

- A great team player

Hours of work: 40 hours per week including half day Sunday (0900-1300) and 4.5 days over Monday-Friday (0800-1700)
