Account Manager Ultrasound Portugal

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Act as single point for customers as account manager for smaller / transactional accounts in the Market, prepares and delivers on the tactical account plans.

You are responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relations with existing and potential customers for assigned accounts (typically transactional accounts).
  • Creating yearly sales plans, with the help of sales management, to set targets and to plan actions and MarCom deliverables.
  • Creating, together with marketing, services and supply chain teams, the optimal offers to the accounts.
  • Initializing customer tailored sales actions and may support larger sales actions.
  • Monitoring the quality of the realization of the actions, improvement of contact between the internal service and the customers to get a good result of the actions.
  • Making local presentations and explanation on the product portfolio and support to promotions (supported where needed by sales specialists).
  • Regular reporting on sales results and expectations, market and competition and trends to inform about the situation.

You will report to the Country Manager for Portugal and you join a passionate and dedicated Ultrasound team with an entrepreneurial spirit and the aspiration of offering the best Customer Experience via best in class solutions and technology.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • University degree with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager for ultrasound products in Portuguese market
  • Previous experience in driving sales and contract fulfillment to achieve budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel package is a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with and influence the stakeholders.
  • Customer centric attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented approach.
  • Problem solving attitude;
  • Collaborates & Builds Networks.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese, Spanish would be a big advantage
