The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for helping CIB Human Resources to maximize their understanding of employees, services and operations. To do so, The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of information delivery solutions for CIB Human Resources.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse users? needs:
    • Understand the needs and expectations of the clients for each application development
    • Proactively suggest the most adapted solutions to display information in a user-friendly, innovative and insightful way
    • Ensure the solutions proposed are compatible with the technical set-up of the team
  • Produce and adapt data visualisations:
    • Create the Tableau, SSRS or Power BI solutions utilising existing architecture
    • Coordinate with data engineers to integrate data visualisations in applications / dashboards / tools being produced
    • Participate in Sprint planning and attend and contribute in daily stand-up meetings to ensure on time delivery of development items
    • Work with onshore and offshore developers, including interaction with geographically distributed clients
  • Maintain a strong market watch on the information display solutions
  • Facilitate good communication with the stakeholders

PROFILE

  • University graduate, Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Fluency in English; French and Portuguese are a plus
  • Former experience in the field of Data visualisation, Business Intelligence or Information Management is an advantage
  • Demonstrable proficiency with enterprise Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, SSRS, Power BI...) is mandatory
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Data driven mindset/exploratory data analysis
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • SQL like language knowledge
  • Knowledge of data workflows / ETL processes
  • Ability to effectively present to target audience
  • Strong sensitivity / appetite for graphic design
  • Project management skills
