We are looking for highly motivated and engaged candidates with a background in the fields of Tax, Treasury, Financial Planning & Reporting, Accounting or Source to Pay to be a part of the S/4 HANA transformation project. Based on your skills and interests in one of the mentioned fields, you would be assigned to one of the global workstreams.
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The SAP S/4 HANA program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies, including data driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. As part of the transformation program, there will be five workstreams within the overall Manage Business Domain area of Finance. The 18-24 month transformation program will orchestrate and drive the organization towards the design & implementation of the new ERP system.
The Senior Director S/4 HANA is responsible for orchestrating the multiple workstreams in ensuring the implementing of the end-to-end process within the defined scope (together with the internal team members and external consultants).
Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities
:
Orchestrate the design, and development of end to end finance processes, within the area or across multiple areas as applicable
Lead in shaping the overall S/4 HANA roadmap and take responsibility of the delivery of results across multiple workstreams based on agreed deliverables, KPI & timeline
"Think Company" and focus on driving full standardization
Accountable for the relationship with key stakeholders within the workstream(s) and across the overall program
Ensure that the S/4 workstream(s) are within boundaries of time, cost & quality, focusing on the expectations, implement results and ensure sustainability of solution.
Provide expertise for processes or (primary) data related queries with your expert knowledge as needed
Create transparency on priorities and facilitate recommendations for fact-based decisions on future processes
Ensure standardized data management processes and drive data quality improvement actions
Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations, and solutions
Manage compliance and global process guidance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
:
Ability to coach, guide and manage people
Ability to provide a clear framework for performance to his / her team and project team
In depth understanding of Financial processes & data; and with solid accounting knowledge
Interested in Product Led way of working
Knowledge for the product area(s) as needed e.g. Tax, Treasury, Reporting
Understanding of the consumer goods industry
Ability to apply continuous process improvement concepts and tools; experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality, process review and compliance
Experience of digital transformation including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Deep and broad SAP FI/CO knowledge and willingness to develop S4/HANA knowledge
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to think strategically as well as tactically, think out of the box mentality
Excellent analytical mindset
Implicit drive for standardization and (internal) consumer obsession
Result orientation and pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset

If working outside from Herzo, willingness to be flexible with Germany working hours
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combinations of educations
Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in finance functions and process management or process improvement
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
Proven experience with process redesigning; preferably with S/4 HANA experience (for external mainly)
