WHAT ARE WE HIRING
We are looking for a Hardware Development Manager for an IoT Product Development Company. As a Hardware Development Manager you will be delivering projects on topics like Smart Roads & City and Public Safety Sensors according to the roadmap, contribute to the solution definition with the program management team and to the solution architecture with the architects? team.

You will ensure that the solution features meets business requirements and that technical design of the solution meets the solution architecture. Also, you will be responsible for managing the SW, HW or FW team and to work with internal & external development teams, industry partners and architects.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Lead our solution development team of HW, FW or SW solutions for smart cities;
• Act as an innovator coming with technical understanding & creative proposals;
• Contribute to the solution definition with the program management team;
• Contribute to the solution architecture with the architecture team;
• Ensure that the technical design of the solution meets solution architecture, features & user stories;
• Responsible for the suppliers? relationship from scope to acceptance;
• Responsible of the technical design of our smart solution;
• Steer the delivery of his team to achieve the agreed solution architecture on scope, time & budget;
• Responsible to deliver a reliable, secure, unit & system tested documented solutions;
• Report progress, issues & risks in structured & recurrent way;
• Support architect & product owner to define user stories & architecture;
• Develop a network of contacts internally & within our partners ecosystem.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• BsC. or M.SC. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field;
• + 10 years of relevante experience and + 5 in management positions;
• Excellent knowledge of the Software and Hardware Development Life Cycle;
• Broad understanding of industry practices for software/mechanical/electronic engineering, quality assurance, analysis, and project management;
• Widely familiar with Agile methodologies;
• Knowledge of the main coding languages;
• Fluent in English.
