This is a great opportunity for an entry level Content Developer to work in a fast-paced and growing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team. Working for Tripadvisor's CRM team, you will develop, update, and maintain emails that reach millions of people across the world. We are searching for someone with a passion for email, an eye for detail, and a creative flair to make sure our campaigns look and function as well as they can.

As a member of the CRM team, you'll be working with a team full of driven and talented people. The role of Content Developer will have you working alongside project managers, software engineers, localization specialists, and our creative team to bring email designs to life.

The CRM team creates and manages email, sms, and push campaigns that service 38 points of sale with 17 languages across 11 brands. Maintaining consistent functionality across all touches requires an eye for detail, and a drive to work efficiently.

Job Description

As the newest addition to the CRM Content Development Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Using the latest and coolest CRM technologies
  • Working with Design and Copy team to confirm assets needed to set up and deploy emails
  • Working with localization specialists to translate and test content to display correctly for the 17 languages we support
  • Setting up, QAing and scheduling One Off email sends
  • Coding templates to display consistently across all major email platforms like Gmail and Outlook.
  • QAing template functionality with Project Managers and other stakeholders
  • Managing lead times with the stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Maintaining email templates and modules created for B2B and B2C communications
    Through it all, you'll be expected to be able to give continuous constructive feedback to the rest of the team including other Content Developers, designers, copy writers, and project managers to better the team?s development and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of front end experience.
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript

OR

  • At least 1 year of experience coding emails.
    • Familiarity with including personalized/dynamic content in emails
  • Knowledge of the unique styling and display quirks that exist in the major email platforms.
  • Experience with responsive design.
  • Experience working with ESPs such as ExactTarget, Mail Chimp, Marketo (preferably for an online travel business or retailer)
  • Some localization experience is a bonus, but not required
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with another European language preferred
  • Familiarity and knowledge of email marketing, including deliverability and rendering best practices
  • University degree (or equivalent) required- Computer Science preferred
