HR Intern - Paid - Full Time

Xperts Council is a fast-growing and international start-up that connects investment firms, global consulting firms, and corporates with high level professionals for industry phone sector consultations, senior advisory missions, and Independent Board Members recruitment.

This allows our customers to get bespoke and reliable information for their strategic decisions which often impact entire markets.

India.
To find the right advisers, we pride ourselves in hiring and training a talented and multicultural team of consultants who undertakes the responsibility to find the "perfect match" for everyone that we work
with.
Your role will
include:

  • Managing job listings on university websites, Welcome To The Jungle, LinkedIn etc. Creating and managing relationships from top-tier universities across Europe as well as organising hiring and promotion events.

  • Maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions on a regular basis

  • Keeping on top of current and new employee files, updating them where necessary

  • Screening incoming CVs for potential candidates

  • Running phone interviews to shortlist candidates

  • Organizing in-person and Skype interviews as well as being present during the interview itself, eventually leading them

  • Coordinating with the COO, CFO and managers for the correct onboarding process

  • Welcoming and setting up new joiners e.g. laptops, log-ins, planning and sending out trainings, etc.

  • Support the finance team with payroll process

  • Ensuring all measures are in place for the company to be compliant with COVID guidelines and Portuguese employment law.


What we expect of you:

  • Currently doing or just completed a degree in HR

  • Good knowledge of Portuguese HR practice; knowledge of Portuguese employment law has more

  • An advanced level of English (business level, C1 minimum),

  • A second language (Portuguese or French preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High level of empathy, proactivity, tenacity, coachingability and creative thinking

  • Results-driven and the ability to see the bigger picture
