The Devices Partners Sales team contributes to Microsoft?s mission of empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more by building the intelligent edge through our devices partners. We work with multinational manufacturers, local device partners and our Authorized distributors to bring best in class devices and services across the Commercial, Education and Consumer segments.
As part of the team in Iberia you will be responsible for our devices business in Portugal, helping our partners to develop and sell their portfolio of devices while enriching them with our services. You will be driving a business with high complexity, that spans across a wide range of products including PC devices, Servers and Office licenses. Success is measured by our Partner?s satisfaction, device activations and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with our Authorized Distributors, managed resellers, Local Device Partners and MNA accounts in Portugal across all levels of the organization, from the GM to the telesales, going through business and product managers and marketing teams. Act as a primary contact for the partner, and serve as an escalation point when required
  • Understand the partner?s business priorities and strategies, discover new growth opportunities for them and work together to realize those.
  • Set sales targets for each account, agree joint marketing plans and ensure the right execution level and impact.
  • Manage the internal relationship with our Commercial, Education and Consumer teams in Microsoft to accelerate devices sales across those segments.
  • Deliver our joint revenue and activation targets as one Iberia team.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience as sales manager in the IT industry, either in a distributor or a manufacturer (required).
  • Used to lead the relationship with top executives (including GM) and also to work hand on hand with the operational teams (business and product managers and marketing team) (required).
  • Results oriented, proactive and data driven. Able to discover new opportunities and always looking for alternatives with a growth mindset (required).
  • Team player, willing to help and support others as well as to listen and learn from them (required).
  • Experience on any of these technologies: Windows Server, HCI, Autopilot, DaaS, CSP (preferred).
  • Master?s degree (preferred).
