We are building our BI platform for two years now and have a constantly growing user base and exciting use cases.

As BI Analyst/Consultant you will be the first line of contact and SME for all things BI; as member of the BI Team you will analyze, design, maintain and improve data cubes by mapping & merging information from various data sources. We have a cutting-edge SAP infrastructure (S4/HANA 1809, SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, BPC, AFO) and are eager to adopt new technologies. The BI Team partners with passionate colleagues with a background in SAP Finance, Logistics and HR. Your stakeholders will span the globe in a multi-cultural environment. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud Models/Stories based on user requirements
• Support, trainings and hands-on assistance for our self-service business users
• Develop SQL, HANA calculation views, CDS views and data mappings to stage (ETL) data from 10+ source systems into our DWH environment
• Partner with Business Analysts and our SAP functional consultants to implement/test specialized models/cubes
• Collaborate with development teams to connect/import from to/from their source systems/services
• Manage and optimize ETL processes and monitor our data staging
• Document models and analytical stories

Requirements

We are looking for a BI generalist, who likes to work on all aspects of the BI lifecycle, values variety in daily tasks and is a supportive and friendly team player with:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
• At least three years of professional experience as BI Analyst/Consultant/Developer
• Basic understanding of financial and logistical processes
• Knowledge of any of the SAP modules FI/CO, HCM, PS, SD/MM, WF and knowledge of the SAP (HANA) data model
• Working experience in an SAP HANA, SAP BW and/or in Cloud DWH environments is a plus
• SQL (Oracle, SQL-Server), HANA modeling, ABAP fundamentals
• Data extraction, cleaning, mapping and transformation experience
• Affinity for data and data quality with an eye for details and the willingness to go the other mile
• An excellent level of English, our global communication language
• Strong communication skills and the ability and patience to explain/present complex problems to a diverse user base
• Comfortable working remotely with colleagues from all over the world
• Flexibility and curiosity to learn and improve
