We are looking for a Head of Marketing (f/m) in our amazing OLX Regional Hub.

Bucharest - Sofia - Lisbon

A typical day at OLX Group, in the role of Head of Marketing, could include:

  • Leading a team of fourteen marketers in Romania, Portugal and Bulgaria on different Marketing functions, from Design and Branding to Paid Search and Analytics
  • Work with the team to implement data-driven methodologies to validate hypothesis and incrementally from campaigns and initiatives
  • Support the people on your team on their personal development, creating opportunities for them to grow their skills while collaborating with HR to make it happen
  • Setting the bar high: from shaping operational guidelines and checklists to ensure we?re delivering best-in-class copy and design in our campaigns
  • Build and continuously improve our Marketing and Growth strategy alongside the team, guaranteeing that we?re focusing in the right problems and that we?re being effective in it
  • Understanding the market and customers in the region so you can guide the team on how and where should we put our focus on
  • Creating business cases for Marketing-driven projects that can require additional investments and product implementations and pushing it through the executive team
  • Working with both Finance and your team to manage a seven figure budget, allocating investments based on data-informed assumptions
  • Be a key stakeholder in our Leadership team, working together with peers from Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Business, Product and Monetization. Together you?ll be shaping OLX?s operations and strategy, making sure we work as one team.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

  • 10y+ years of experience in high-traffic consumer platforms such as Marketplaces, Classifieds, E-commerce or SaaS leading Marketing and/or Growth teams on a multi-million dollar budget
  • You?re able to both build a high-level strategy or identify a problem on the settings of a paid search campaign with the same confidence level
  • Having a Growth Attitude
  • Experience leading 360 campaigns and TV flights with proven impact on business metrics
  • Be able to lead a consumer brand that is in the top of mind of millions of customers and continuously improve customer?s perception through creative campaigns and initiatives
  • Outstanding analytical skills; understanding and experience working with Media Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution, and incrementally testing. (Bonus if you think about marginal cost)
  • You?re natural at reporting to leadership on revenue-related metrics
  • Writing and speaking proficiency in English (Bonus if you?re fluent at Romanian, Portuguese or Bulgarian)
