Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Design test cases for Firmware development applied to water heating appliances or connected products (such as Wireless Gateways or Control Units) based on product and process requirements;
• Derive test plans, create test cases, implement / execute tests and report results;
• Identify opportunities and actively drive the test automation implementation;
• Set up and maintain automatic and manual test environments for modules and its integration;
• Deliver on time with the expected quality;
• Maintain close and transparent contact with the team and with other departments regarding test activities, procedures and progress;
• Review and understand Technical References and related literature for the system components (controller, peripherals, interfaces and protocols);
• Support the department to continuously improve the SW development and the testing processes and methods.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• High motivation for quality assurance;
• Willingness to work within an highly cooperative and agile team;
• Being pro-active and true team member;
• Good communication skills (in Portuguese and English).

What distinguishes you:

• Degree in Informatics, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering or similar is valued;
• ISTQB or TMAP certification is desirable;
• Experience with test automation frameworks for Firmware (i.e. Robot Framework);
• Knowledge about Embedded Platform architectures and state of the art software testing techniques and methodologies;
• Experience with AGILE development using common frameworks (such as Scrum and SAFe) is a plus;
• Experience with GIT, Jenkins and Atlassian (XRay) tools is a plus;
• Availability to travel.
