Job Summary
Euronext is currently looking for a Corporate Functions Manager to be responsible for all the IT Systems and Projects, at the Group level, related with Corporate Support Functions Departments such as Human Resources, Finance, customer relationship management, Communications & Marketing.
These systems are managed internally, while others are managed via external services with specialized consultants, so the candidate should demonstrate capabilities to manage either internal teams and external providers.
The internal customers of those system are located in different countries, so this job requires a constant engagement with those internal staff in those location.
Euronext has a vast M&A agenda, and part of this role is to integrate in the corporate function systems the acquired companies and establish strong management processes post integration.
Role Summary
Manage the internal team and as well external service providers;
Manage corporate applications and implement all actions to guarantee resiliency and robustness;
Deliver new project to support the business needs and resiliency need of applications;
Establish good business relations with business counterparts, service providers, and It peers, in order to achieve the continuous service improvement.
Key Accountabilities
As a Corporate Functions Manager, you will:
Lead an internal team, also as elements from external providers, to guarantee the execution of the Projects;
Work closely with other IT functions to guarantee appropriate support for projects and operations;
Work closely with the Directors of each Corporate Support Function Department in order to understand the existing Projects and what it's needed to deliver;
Manage expectations of the internal clients providing realistic timelines for Project delivery;
Bring ideas on tools and frameworks used by other firms in order to help defining Euronext target;
Interact with external providers and staff to ensure projects delivery;
Provide proactive recommendations and implement modifications to avoid incidents and problems repetitions;
Optimize costs;
Define and manage budgets.
Profile and Skills
10+years of leadership experience in managing projects associated to one or more Corporate Support Function Departments in a Multinational context;
Degree in Technology related major;
Background in the IT world, mainly in areas related with troubleshooting;
Knowledge of Financial Environment is a plus;
Hungry: passionate about the job, motivated by challenges, willing to transform, hands-on, focused on delivery;
Strong sense of service, transparent in case of difficulties;
Logical;
Active listener and with a very structured/coherent and organized speech, being capable of communicating complex technical topics to a wide variety of audiences;
Strong leadership and management abilities;
Ability to lead cross functional project teams in implementing projects of a complex nature;
Demonstrated critical thinking and planning at a strategic level;
Ability to translate strategic plans into specific objectives, and to create and execute project plans to achieve objectives;
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, ability to understand the business needs, embrace Euronext culture;
Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
Ability to interact with senior management elements and influence decision makers;
Demonstrate ability to apply technology solutions to business needs;
Availability to travel;
Fluent in English. French and other European languages, including Portuguese, is a plus.
