Research position for a Research Grant (?Bolsa de Investigação para Mestre?) is opened at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the project Routing on Multiple Optimality Criteria, funded by FCT/MCTES, under the project UIDB/50008/2020.

Admission Requirements:
1. Deep and proven knowledge about routing algorithms and protocols
2. Proclivity for mathematica analysis of routing protocols
3. Proven dexterity in programming

Work Objectives:
The work gives continuity to ideas presented in the article ?Routing on Multiple Optimality Criteria?, SIGCOMM 2020, exploring, among others, the following topics: 1. Specification, correction, and experimental evaluation of various types of routing protocols for partial orders. 2. Formulation of inter-domain routing in terms of optimality criteria and solutions based on routing protocosl for partial orders. 3. Definition and evaluation of routing systems that react to network congestion through changes in the properties of network links.

Place of work:
The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor João Sobrinho.
Duration:
6 months, eventually renewed in accordance FCT scholarship regulations
Monthly salary:
1.074,64? (net), according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). The payment will be made by bank transfer.
Selection criteria:

• C1 (40%)
  Grade of Master degree
• C2 (40%)
  Number and quality of scientific publications
• C3 (20%)
  Quality of software produced

Each criteria, and the final classification F will be evaluated in a scale (0-20). The candidates will be ordered according to:
F = C1 x 40% + C2 x 40% + C3 x 20%
In case of a tie, the tied candidates will be ordered according to C1, then C2...
The Jury has the right to not admit any of the candidates that applied for this position whenever they consider that no candidate meets the minimum requirements for the position.
