The Globalization Services Financials unit focuses on the localization of Financials and related industries. It has teams in Germany, China, India, Russia, Czech Republic, Brazil, Portugal and other locations, consisting of colleagues from more than 20 nationalities. Department language is English.
We're looking for an experienced senior developer joining our localization development scrum team, especially for the Business Suite / ERP Financial / Public Sector, to join our localization development scrum team in Porto Salvo, Portugal.
As an ABAP Developer, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

Analysis and specification of business requirements

Modeling, design, implementation and test based on SAP's programming model and processes

Maintenance and corrections

Collaborate with other development teams and product management colleagues at Globalization Services who provide localization requirements.

Responsibility to ensure high quality (create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, code reviews)

Be an active part of an Agile (Scrum) development team

Work Experience:

5-8+ years' experience in SAP application development (ABAP / ABAP OO, UI, modeling and design)

Experience in Business Suite applications like SAP ERP Financials/Public Sector

Proven track record of successful project/product performance regarding customer satisfaction, quality deliverables and on-time delivery

LEAN thinking

Scrum / Agile development experience

Education, Qualifications and skills:

Degree Equivalent

Excellent analytical and architectural skills

Very good comprehension skills, high quality commitment and self-motivating working style

Ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in new technological areas

Very good communication skills; fluent English

Constructive and open style of communication

Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures
