Hyperion EPM & BI Analyst

Join a large international organization within their growing Finance BI and Analytics team. The company is currently undergoing significant transformation to introduce new technologies and business process, to capitalize on their immense data stores. As part of the Digital Finance Transformation, there is a push to automate the financial reporting and controlling teams, by leveraging new BI tools and extending usage of existing products in new manners.

The main EPM product for FP&A is Hyperion Essbase, with CXO Cockpit, a dedicated dashboarding and reporting tool built on top to extract data and provide more dynamic insight. EPM/ BI Analyst role concentrates on driving user adoption of the CXO Cockpit by migrating existing, manually produced reporting into the system. In practice, you will work within the CXO Cockpit dashboarding solution to support existing and develop new dashboards. Additionally, since CXO is directly connected to our underlying Hyperion Essbase databases, you will also perform underlying data analysis in Hyperion Essbase directly.

This role sits within a dynamic and international team. You will work with colleagues across Europe and you will have plenty of freedom in your role to be autonomous. You will be client facing with Finance stakeholders and will act almost as an internal consultant to analyse business problems and propose new Data solutions.

Candidate background:

• FP&A background - Familiar with budgeting, planning and forecasting reporting cycles
• Reporting
• Experience with automation, standardisation and centralisation of reporting
• Familiar with creating standard templates and ensuring adherence to standards
• Finance Systems
• Comfortable with large enterprise applications and the associated volume of data
• Ideally experience with Hyperion Essbase/ Planning or similar technology e.g. Cognos TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, Board, Tagetik, SAP BPC etc.
• Ideally exposure to projects, having led projects in related fields and comfortable working in international settings with tight deliverables
• Comfortable with mapping/developing processes & workflows (including governance requirements)
• Able to manage remote and virtual teams and developing engagement with multiple (finance) stakeholders, from senior management to C-level execs
