Production turned 1997 into manufacturing of sewn airbags, which now is the main activity in both Portuguese and Tunisian operations.

Main Responsibilities:
Create and review annual budgets, ensures forecasted costs are calculated and maintained accurately;
Manage the monthly closing;
Prepare monthly reporting, the processing of P&L and Balance Sheets and the preparation of variance reports by the every 5th or 6th business days of the month;
Ensure accurate and timely execution of the sales invoicing and supplier payment processes. This includes that invoices are accurately entered into the Accounting system, supplier profiles are created correctly;
Manage the Daily Cash Flow and Monetary Movement Monitoring process for all bank accounts. Report future cash planning every first day of the week;
Review them periodically and report to management as required;
Manage Corporation Tax, payroll taxes and VAT;
Actively participate in the project of modifying, building a new ERP system if necessary;
Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Europe and Tunisia.
Experience/Profile:
Minimum 6-8 years progressive experience in accounting, audit and/or financial management experience in Portugal required;
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required;
Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting, and of financial records and transactions including, but not limited to, Portuguese generally accepted accounting principles, knowledge of IFRS is plus;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills who can manage the external consultants, group internal related parties;
Intermediate or advanced proficiency in the MS Office Package;
Actively pursues learning and self-development to enhance personal, professional and business growth.
