WHAT WE ARE HIRING

We are looking for a Legacy Manager who will be responsible for managing the embedded software team contributing to the development of our smart cities solutions. He works with internal & external development teams, industry partners and architects on sensors, tele management, edge computing solutions & integration with lighting, pole & public infrastructure. Project manager is responsible to deliver his part of the solution architecture on scope, time & budget in an agile development environment.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead a team of 3 firmware development engineers;
  • Lead a set of delivery suppliers defining scope, accepting & testing deliveries;
  • Steer delivery supplier relationship coordinating with purchase, legal, program & development director;
  • Responsible of the technical design of our firmware solutions;
  • Steer the delivery of his team to achieve the agreed solution architecture on scope, time & budget;
  • Deliver technical user stories replying to the agreed architecture, features & user stories;
  • Deliver a reliable, secure, unit & system tested documented solutions integrated with other development teams (electronic, software & mechanical);
  • Manage his delivery in an agile development environment;
  • Report progress, issues & risks in structured & recurrent way;
  • Come with innovative solutions to address requirements & bugs resolution;
  • Support architect & product owner to define user stories & architecture;
  • Support quality assurance manager in building end to end testing strategy, test cases and test installation;
  • Develop a network of contacts internally & within our network of partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master?s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science/Maths;
  • Min. 3 years of experience as firmware developer;
  • Min. 2 years in project management & team lead position;
  • Expertise in firmware development language C & C++ additional knowledge in other languages is a plus;
  • Expertise in software development environment & tools;
  • Ability to write high quality technical specifications;
  • Ability to define & execute a tests plan;
  • Ability to understand electronic hardware;
  • Fluent in English;
  • French and German is a plus.
